You can move the Bouncie device from one vehicle to another, but there are a few things you should know ahead of time.
Bouncie uses your vehicle's VIN to accurately link driving and location data to your app. Vehicles that are 2006 and newer will automatically tell Bouncie it's VIN.

You can easily switch Bouncie between vehicles when each vehicle is 2006 or newer. Just add the vehicles in your Bouncie app and move the device anytime!
But what if your vehicle is older than 2006? There's a trick!
On vehicles older than 2006, the VIN is not reported through the OBD port, and our system needs a few numbers from the back of Bouncie.
Then, you can use the unix cp command to copy your files to an existing data drive you previously added to your unRaid array. To copy all your files to disk1 type this: cd /mnt/olddata cp -r. /mnt/disk1 However all of the files will have the current date/timestamp. To preserve the original date/timestamp of the files, use this command instead. On your main box, share the folder with your remote client. Then on your remote client you'll just need to accept the share. So if that folder is showing up in Syncthing on unraid, just go to edit and share with your remote client. If you want more folders from within that directory than you can also create those. 1) Copy the files from disk# (where '#' is the number of the disk in unRAID) cp -r /mnt/disk# /mnt/disk#. Example: cp -r /mnt/disk4 /mnt/disk8. Copies all contents of disk4 to disk8. All files/directories on disk4 remain. Note the above example will create a dir named 'disk4' on disk8 with the contents underneath it. FreeFileSync is a folder comparison and synchronization software that creates and manages backup copies of all your important files. Instead of copying every file every time, FreeFileSync determines the differences between a source and a target folder and transfers only the minimum amount of data needed. FreeFileSync is Open Source software, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Yup, this is what I use for simple syncs to unRAID. So you can do something like: robocopy C:UserscdubzserverDocuments X:Documents /MIR /R:5 /W:0 This assumes you have your unRAID share mapped to X. The Syntax is just robocopy source destination switches. /MIR is mirror, and will do what you want. 
When you add your vehicle to the app, it will determine automatically if we need these numbers and ask you for them. Once the new vehicle is assigned to the device, you are good to go! 
Keep in mind each time Bouncie is installed in a different vehicle, the first trip you take may not be visible in the app. The device needs to complete an initialization and calibration process before it will transmit data.

First things first.. download the Bouncie app (App Store | Google Play) and set up your account (don't forget to enter your vehicle's VIN). 
Then you will be ready to plug the Bouncie device into the OBD port of your vehicle.

Your vehicle's OBD port is usually located under the driver's side dash near the steering column. Some vehicles may require the removal of a small plastic cover to access the OBD port.
